This 1962 Canadian silver Voyageur dollar is a circulated coin in VF-35 (Very Fine 35) condition.

Reverse (Voyageur canoe scene)

Figure details: The two paddlers show moderate wear on shoulders, heads, and backs, with paddle blades and canoe gunwales smoothed but outlines bold—precisely matching VF where fine details like fur folds are flattened but major elements remain.

Trees and water: Pine branches are partially merged with northern lights lines, rock base worn smooth, typical VF-30/35 rub without reaching EF separation.

Surfaces: Even light grey toning with scattered bagmarks on canoe and trees; no deep scratches or cleaning marks evident, preserving natural circulated appearance.

Obverse (Queen Elizabeth II portrait)

High points: Cheekbone and jawline exhibit even friction smoothing the contours, hair strands above ear partially worn flat, laurel wreath central leaves softened—hallmarks of VF with good boldness overall.

Luster and fields: Matte fields from circulation with no remaining mint luster, minor contact marks in open areas but rims sharp and lettering clear/separated.

Eye appeal: Uniform toning enhances appeal for VF grade; no post-mint damage like polishing or harsh rim bumps noted.

Overall technical assessment

Wear level: Moderate (30-40% detail loss on high points) places it solidly VF, above VF-20 (more merging) but below EF-40 (distinct hair/dress folds).

Grade rationale: VF-35 best fits across all four angles—consistent wear, no anomalies like die cracks. Official grading (ICCS/PCGS) could pinpoint VF-30/35/40
